Paladone’s Henry Desk Vacuum cleaner is a scaled down version of the original Henry Vacuum Cleaner first launched by Numatic International Ltd in 1980. 30 years later, Henry smiling features are instantly recognisable and he’s become a well-loved icon of domestic life. At just under 10 centimetres tall, Paladone’s Henry Desk Vac is perfect for use in the home or office. He’ll remove all sorts of crumbs and dust from your desktop and ensure it’s kept spotless. Henry even comes with a handy crevice tool to help you reach all those hard to reach areas on your keyboard. No bags required, simply unscrew top to empty.

Product Description

Meet Henry . If you don’t know him personally, you’ll most certainly have seen him around, most likely smiling proudly in the front window of Robert Dyas or some such sensible high street DIY chain. The classic Henry is usually red (although he has multicoloured siblings). He smirks chirpily. And has phenomenal capacity for all manner of rubbish. At gadgetshop HQ, we can’t get enough of him. And now, at last, this cheerful little vacuum cleaner beloved of builders all over the country is available for a new generation of mini builders and cleaners, in small (but perfectly formed) dimensions. Battery-powered, with a full set of accessories that pack away neatly inside, this mini-cleaner doesn’t just look the part, it’s actually designed to perform. The younger members of one’s household will take to it with aplomb. And now at last, one’s children can clear-up after themselves. Meaning an end to biscuit and crisp crumbs (in one’s dreams). Henry even comes with a simulated power cord that reels in by turning a handle, just like its bigger brother. Better still, at just 255mm tall (less than a standard ruler) it can even sit atop your desk in the office to suck-up all sorts of office detritus. With the possible exception of Terry from Accounts.
This product came with a range of pipes which can be attached to the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner to complete different tasks. On turning the cleaner on, the product produced a lot of noise, yet did not suck up much, only a small clump of dust only just bigger than a pin head.Trying all the pipes in different orders still did not work, with the product still showing very little suction. I have not however, sent this item back. Even though it’s useless, it’s still a nice item to have on your desk, albeit an expensive one.If you want a desktop vacuum cleaner, from experience, look elsewhere, but if you want a pretty addition to your work desk to lighten it up that attracts your inquisitive work colleagues, look no further.
